On Monday 3rd May a team consisting of Daniel Cooper, Nathan Bidwell, Alice McWatters, Jacob Stallard and Eleni Krassos represented NSEC at this year’s North Somerset Show alongside North Somerset Council in Wraxall. The North Somerset Show has been running for over 160 years and presents the very best of livestock and horses showcased with rural events, crafts and food.

The weekend of 11-13 October marked an important milestone for North Somerset Environment. At this year’s ROKiT Weston Beach Race, NSEC officially launched our new Event Services division along with our new promotional merchandise made from recycled materials.

As we further look at innovations, efficiencies and network building for our Highways Operation, October sees a select delegation from North Somerset Environment attending the 2024 Highways UK Exhibition for a day in Birmingham.

We will be working with RHL Activities at this year’s ROKiT Weston Beach Race on what is their 41st Anniversary Year.

It’s been a fantastic couple of days for our North Somerset Environment Company team at this years Environmental Services & Solutions Exhibition. We headed up to the NEC in Birmingham early on Wednesday 11 September ready for 2 busy days full of catching up with industry colleagues, meeting suppliers and attending informative seminars and discussions.

A major road is to close overnight to allow for "essential" pothole and gully repairs, North Somerset Council has said.
