Supporting the 3rd Weston-super-Mare St Paul’s Squirrels Litter Picking
At North Somerset Environment we take great pride in supporting our local North Somerset community.
In the last week, we’ve supported the 3rd Weston-super-Mare St Paul’s Squirrels as they took to the streets for a community litter pick, showing that you’re never to young to make a difference to our neighbourhood.
Supported by North Somerset Environment and our Recycling Advisor, Alice McWatters, the Squirrels collected litter from local areas, learning the value of teamwork, responsibility, and caring for the planet. It was inspiring to see these young people engage with their environment so passionately.
NSEC have donated equipment to the group, encouraging them to continue their great work in the local community. They have already planned their next litter pick, with Alice attending another session on Wednesday 2 July.
This kind of partnership not only strengthens our local community, it plants the seeds of environmental stewardship in the next generation.
Small hands making a big impact.
