Celebrating Milestones: Jacob Stallard’s 1-Year and Eleni Krassos’ 2-Year Anniversaries at North Somerset Environment
At North Somerset Environment, we believe that investing in young professionals is one of the most powerful ways to drive innovation, build resilience, and shape a sustainable future. This month, we are proud to celebrate two key milestones that reflect just that commitment: Jacob Stallard’s 1-year anniversary and Eleni Krassos’ 2-year anniversary as valued members of our team.
Since joining in August 2024, Jacob has brought enthusiasm, dedication, and a fresh perspective to his role within our Project Management team. Whether working on day to day projects or supporting our event services and commercial initiatives, Jacob’s contributions have quickly made him a trusted and respected part of our team.
Eleni joined our company in 2023 and has since become a driving force in several key activities within her Human Resources role. Her attention to detail, proactive mindset, and commitment to delivering high quality work each time have made a significant impact across the board. She has packed a lot into her two years with the company, starting as an HR Apprentice and quickly completed the CIPD Level 3 qualification with flying colours and becoming our HR Administrator. She has also recently gone on to complete her CIPD Level 5 qualification also. With a thirst for learning, she has now taken on the ILM Level 3 qualification, which she will be joined on by other colleagues, including Jacob.
"We are extremely proud of Eleni and are lucky to have her as part of our HR team, her progress in the last two years has been nothing short of astounding, and she shows no signs of slowing down. It is a pleasure to see how much she has grown into her role and how much more confident she has become" said Erika Plumridge, Human Resources Manager.
Supporting early-career professionals like Jacob and Eleni is a core part of our ethos, through structured development, mentorship, and meaningful project involvement, we aim to create an environment where young people can thrive, and where their ideas and contributions help shape our direction.
"Young professionals bring energy, innovation, and a fresh lens to our work" said Stuart Jellings, Managing Director. "Their growth is our success, and we’re committed to continuing our investment in the future generation of our industry."
As we celebrate these anniversaries, we also look ahead with pride and optimism, knowing that the future of our environment is in capable, passionate hands.
